For the record, it actually does make a difference on some cuts. The reason I did it was because, while attempting to make a box by folding plywood, I couldn’t make the 60* V-cut with enough accuracy to reliably obtain 0.010” remaining wood at the bottom of the cut. Localizing the Z axis probe location provided better precision.

A Six-Sided Box

I’ve just finished an arcade game that I designed. It uses an Arduino Nano, and it works like the “Simon” toy of old, where the player echoes as many lights/sounds as possible. Because there are six switches on the panel, I wanted to make a six-sided enclosure for it.
