Haven’t seen this so thought I’d share. Sorry if this is old news.
Was thinking about a press for inlay glue ups and realized I already had one in the cnc. Didn’t want to put strain on the shaft or bearings so 3d printed a Piston with a void on top for the shaft, a wide shoulder for the spindle casing, and a flat flared base to press on the work piece. Covered the inlay with a wide board for more even pressure. Have to be gentle loading the pressure but works great.
