Onefinity Production Update 3/5/26

Onefinity Production Update 3/5/26

Date: March 5th 2026

Time for another production update on our Gen 2 CNC machines and the new Apprentice Series!

:rocket: More Gen 2 Elites are arriving at their forever homes! Here is what Anthony T. shared about his new machine on our Facebook group!

"I received my Gen 2 Foreman this past Saturday and started the build Sunday morning as depicted in the picture. Its quite the process.

The boxes:package: with the rails, as posted by others are incredibly heavy, especially the X axis. I need to give kudos the Onefinity’s shipping dept. as the various components were incredibly packed. Prior to this weekend, I never saw an Onefinity CNC in person, never owned a CNC before but researched this machine over several years. The announcement of the Gen 2 came at the perfect time for when I was going to pull the trigger on a machine.

I am overwhelmed by how structurally robust the the Gen 2 is. Also extremely appreciative of the labelling of the various cables and ports, as this is off the charts…

Thank you Onefinity.

Once the basic build of the stand, QCW ands the rails along with the Redline electronics was complete, I fired her up and the homing and basic movements worked perfectly :slightly_smiling_face:, almost to good to be true."

I am expecting my Gen 2 Foreman soon. Does anyone have any recommendations on the best material for the waste board and what are the exact sizes for the Foreman?

Thanks,
DeKevin

MDF , 3/4" is most recommended. I had same question about dimensions for the machine and found it easily using AI summary from Google. See also the manual available from Onefinity site.

Someone replied to a topic you are Watching.

What shipping company would be used to ship Apprentice to Colorado? Any idea how long shipping and customs will take?

I’m not sure about the Apprentice but my Gen 2 shipped on Monday and arrived in Colorado today! It it really good to see it!

Looks like our BB→Redline Elite upgrade is arriving in a few days, can’t wait to start that project!

Will there be a dedicated install instruction document and/or video posted in the manuals section of the website for this? I could probably muddle through it on my own based on the full system install instructions, but it would be handy to see how a pro would do it before I procede to do it the hardest possible way.

I’m in the queue for Batch 4, and the current timeline is mid-April. That’s not an issue for me as I have plenty of other projects and jobs on the bench currently. But from what I’m reading on this platform, some are very unhappy with the 1F delivery timelines. It’s already been cussed and discussed about what a company has to go thru to release a product so I’ll spare that dead horse a beating. What I find to be unreasonable and pitiful is when individuals on this forum and the FB page, get on other forums or FB pages and trash the heck out of 1F staff and the company. I came across a comment on another Canadian CNC company’s page that was a seething example of this. If you’re that unhappy about it, work with 1F for a refund on your order and move on to brand X down the street.

Just my opinion
