I saw a post where onefinity were looking into an 80mm (I believe that’s the correct size) router mount & this got me thinking… has anyone made a mount for a larger router like a PC 690 or similar routers? I just happen to have 3 or 4 routers that all use the same standard PC size base…makes handheld use & switching out routers in my router table quick & easy.
I think the HP would be similar to the makita trim router that’s suggested, but it would be nice to have the option to use 1/2" bits especially when it comes to leveling the spoil board.
Would the z-axis stepper motor have any issue with holding the added weight?
Not sure what a spindle weighs, but I’d guess most would be considerably heavier than the little trim routers.
