Post up them projects (👀 Show off what you've made on your Onefinity!)

The grain in the charcuterie board looks like waves at the beach. Really nice piece of wood.

Thank you. It is the first piece of Birds Eye mahogany I have ever seen. I found it in a pile of walnut shorts at my local lumber yard.

After watching an excellent video 2 weeks ago about making a pumpkin pie dish from “Vectric In the Labs” using the moulding tool path, I was off and running trying things with the tool.

After a little trouble and some guidance from Vectric support (EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT!), here’s my latest, cut & finished today.

This is from an old piece of maple I’ve had laying around forever. After I cut it, I discovered the beautiful rays that were inside it. Wish I had more of it!

9" long, 1 1/2" tall, yellow dye inside, gloss cat lacquer finish.

For you newbies out there, practice, practice, practice, that’s how you learn…

I only use finishing pass also all the time with a 1/16 or 1/32 for lithophanes

I recently had my guest bathroom redone and decided to make a frame (really an overlay) for the existing frameless mirror. The full size of the frame is 59.5" x 41.75", which means I could only fit half on the Journeyman at a time. This, of course, came with a number of set-up challenges, but I think it turned out quite well. The wood is padauk, finished with Natura Onecoat clear. The 3D model came from Etsy (resized). I also hammered a texture into the recessed areas by hand, as I was not happy with the finish in some places and sanding was not really an option.

Here is a gag gift plaque I made for some friends. They have adopted like 12 feral cats. :face_with_bags_under_eyes: The material is 1/4 inch Colorcore HDPE.

Nice, I had no idea Poplar carved so well and looked that nice with a simple oil finish. Thanks for the post.

Sisyphus themed cribbage board for a local board game bar. Cherry on maple with resin lettering. By no means perfect, but I’m pleased enough. Probably my second or third real attempt at inlay - it’s addicting stuff!

My sister wanted me to make this game. Sending the Vectric file. I made it so no copyright issues. Make it, sell it. I don’t care.

What is HPDE…???

High density polyethylene

I know what that is, but I don’t know what HPDE is.

High-poly denseilene, of course.

3D topographic Red-Bull Ring in aluminum.

I am normally not into production job, but had an order in for CPO Pride Day. Router, revolution and 1F JM knocked it out of the park.

Hey xenith
Wow that’s a lot of aluminum milling. Just curious what size of onefinity you have and how long it took. Was it a 1/4” endmill? Do you plan to polish it?

I never realized how much the red bull ring looks like a cartoon version of a whale.

@ChrisM
It does look a lot like a whale.

I have the pro woodworker. The ring started as a 1x2x4” block of 6061-T6. There was a roughing operation with a 1/4in o-flute and a parallel finishing operation with a 1/4in 2-flute ball endmill. It probably took about 40min total. It was supposed to be a test, so I didn’t have any real plans for finishing it.

Foam Insert I made for my RC transmitter.

That is very nice! Do you mind sharing what type of foam and what types of cutters you used?

Dirkus

Very cool, I’m just getting started, am planning on using carveco since it comes with the package. Can this file be converted or imported? My grandsons would love this game
