Question about cutting area

Hey all, I received my Journeyman Pro and read the discussions on here about the cutting area. The indication was that the cutting area began 1.25" back from the front feet and 1.75" right of the front left foot. I meticulously measured and hit my mark. Imagine my surprise when I jog the machine to the front and find that it appears the spindle (not yet received) will cut in line with the front feet! Am I missing something or did I follow the wrong measurements? Picture for reference showing where I measured for the t tracks vs where the bit appears to line up:

Where the cutter will center will depend on your machine setup. The center of the cutter will be different if you’re using a 65mm or 80mm motor (due to the change in motor mount used), and will be different again if you’re using Z-16 or a Z-20.

There’s a good chance the dimensions you found were for a different setup than you’re using.

This was the thread I followed, he must have had a different slider then. I have the new Z-20 with a 65mm mount. That’s on me for not verifying before putting 50 screws in the t tracks!
