I just got my Redline controller. I’m not sure which version came with it. After startup, I unchecked the reverse axis direction for the X axis, and it worked fine (I have my X Axis motor mounted on the left side of the machine).

I then upgraded the firmware to 1.4.9, but now that option doesn’t work as shown in this video.

I tried rebooting the machine after unmarking that, but that didn’t work either. On top of that, the option goes back to be checked.

Your x rail is set up incorrectly. The motor should be on the right side of the machine.

Yes, I understand the preferred way is to have the X axis motor on the right side. Given my setup, it makes it much easier to have the motor on the left side.

Before the current update, this was fine after I unchecked the “Reverse axis” for the X axis. But with the current update, that option does not work anymore.

The next firmware should fix this (releasing soon)
