I’m considering buying the 24watt laser so I can get rid of my xTool. Can someone tell me how it works with the redline controller?
I’m looking for a step by step as far as converting from cnc to laser.
Also looking for running a file on the laser. Is it simolar to running a file on the cnc?
Plug it in to open, load your laser file, mount the laser, zero, press start 
Sounds simple. Does the interface change on the controller? Does it attach in front of the spindle, or does the spindle have to come out?
Yes, it’s super simple! Interface doesn’t change. The laser magnets to the front of the z slider. The spindle doesn’t have to come out (it might have to be raised up).
Great, how does it know to send the file to the laser, not the spindle?
You go to the ‘spindle’ setup, and click ‘laser’ rather than ‘redline spindle’.
