Redline Controller Install walkthrough video

Here is a quick video installing The New redline Controller onto the Onefinity elite machine.

If you have an existing or new machine the install process is the same and pretty quick / straight forward.

Looking at that dip switch sequence on the motor the Redline uses the same motor resolution as the Masso?

Correct. 1,4,5 down/off, 2,3,6 up/on.

you are correct! But it is good information moving forward!

Thanks first solid proof of Ethernet @2:35. The posted specs are incomplete.

You are correct! Direct ethernet connection and WiFi. The over the air updates directly from the HMI or monitor is so simple. And the new desktop file management system is a game changer.

Can you post a picture of this desktop file management system? We are very much in the dark

For sure. I have shown it a few times on my Instagram reels and stories. But I’ll get some tonight.

Did you actually try WiFi? I keep getting a network error no matter what I do. I’m wondering if you did an update connected, or some other means. Then once it updated WiFi worked?!

I’ll try and update and go from there.

yes which version are you on?

Looks like 1.1.11

how far is the router from your hmi? Next how does the strength look in the set up screen. Last are you using mesh or just router alone?

Here’s some updates, including chat about wifi.

Does anyone know of any how-to videos or articles on the new redline controller? I can’t find anything about how to use the jump to line feature, how to set-up macros, etc .

Hi do you have any info on the proper way to load files. I use vectric vcarve pro i save files onto my pc then having spotty success getting the files to the redline controller. ive used the web interface rts-x to create gcode directories then load files to one of those using rtx sometimes they appear in the files section and often not on the controller. ive tried using usb which i think worked one time but isnt working now. any ideas of how to consistently get files to the redline will be appreciated. im using a wired connection from a network extender which worked fine with my old woodworker???

Don’t think “Jump to” is ready for prime time, I always get an error when it tries to reposition.

Same with me, but it would be handy.

The jump to line bug is a known issue. We’re trying to get it fixed for the next release (1.1.2).

First i am sorry i didn’t seen any of these updated questions on this post.

the proper way to load files over the network is using the proper domain

On the controller you can find your IP address under config and networks tab at the top.

Or click the three lines for the menu tab and click remote and will give you an ip as well

Take that and enter directly into your address bar with nothing else in front of it and search. this menu will then allow you to see status and upload files
