How do I import files via wifi so I don’t have to go back and forth to the house with my USB drive?
I did connect to my wifi in the shop. That’s a different router than my wifi in the house if that makes a difference. Because of the distance they’re different networks. Am hoping I can save the files in Dropbox or Google Drive and access that way?
My understanding is that they must be on the same network, as the computer you use will access the Redline via its IP address. I do not believe it can work the other way, including the controller accessing a network drive or cloud service storage like Google Drive or Dropbox.
My recommendation would be to find a way to have your home PC and shop Redline on the same network. If you ask this in the forum I am sure you will get examples of the hardware that would allow you to do this, as many solutions exist - it will be an added expense but worth the time and money IMO.
You can do so by putting in the ip address of your redline controller that is on the same network. It will pop up in your internet browser. Very simple!
