Redline Home Position

Not new to having CNCs in the shop but the Onefinity Redline is new and cant seem to figure out how to do this. So I will be needing a separate home position that ill have a point that the work material will always be at that position on the work surface. I need to be able to hit a button and it go to that new home position everytime then zero it out from there. Anyone know how to do this on the Redline Machine?

Have you looked at assigning a macro to do that & setting a soft button to it? Just tap the button and off ur goes to wherever you want it to go.

I have but it requires a file and from what ive found out there has to be a file that is loaded for each macro. Not how im use to with other machines but learning

I agree, having to upload a file to create a macro is painful. But is is what it is until they have a better UI for file management. In meantime, use a G53 G0 Xn Yn to make your home position.

Thats the problem. I dont understand where to put that into to make a file to upload it. Its all foreign to me.

Create a file with your desired home position. On the controller select the file manager. I created a new folder named Macros.

On your computer, selected the “Macros” folder you created on the controller. Select upload file and your file should go into the folder. On the controller select a macro and then select the file you just uploaded.
