Curious how others are mounting their Redline VFD using the under table mount to a QCW stand. The mounting bracket is too wide to screw onto the waste board supports and there are no other flat surfaces to attach it to. Is anyone simply screwing the bracket into the waste board? Doesn’t seem ideal to have to remount your vfd each time you replace your waste board.

It was designed to screw directly into the MDF slats.
Usually, you replace these slats every 1-2 years or longer. Surfacing should only take off .1 or so per time you do it.
