performed the elite resolution update, now after “home” the z-axis travels over to the tool setter and basically slams into the tool setter button, i reviewed all the settings and seems to look correct. Please advise (I followed the instructions) Please advise ?
This is probably a dumb question, but are you absolutely certain that you have the DIP switches set properly on the Z motor? If you set the controller for 2000 PPR, and the DIP switches on the motor are still set for 400 PPR (for example), the motor speed will be 5x faster than intended.
Hi Dennis, no response is dumb, You made me rethink everything so I took the covers off the motors and every thing is set with 1/4 switches set to the down position.Now I am reloading the update software so I will let ya known later how that went. Thank you for the response !!!

Hi Dennis, ok I now reloaded the update file and have reconfigured everything that required it. All seems to be good now. I must have fat fingered something during the first go-round which is corrected now. I haven’t done a carve yet so if something else has an anomaly i will post it here if associated to the revolution amendment!
