Revolution Rotary Ideas

Since the announcement of The Revolution rotary, I’ve been brainstorming ideas for its use beyond the ubiquitous (and perhaps obligatory) table legs.

Below is a list of items that could either be worth selling or at least make for interesting novelty gifts.

I’m curious—what ideas do others have for utilizing their 4th axis?

  • Busts
  • Spaceships
  • Lighthouses
  • Rolling Pins
  • Bowling Pins, Bowling Balls (miniature)
  • Baseball Bats
  • Baseballs
  • Chess Pieces
  • Magic Wands
  • Honey Dippers
  • Screwdrivers
  • Screws
  • Nails
  • Hammers
  • Handles
  • Reamers
  • Pokers
  • Figurines
  • Pens and Pencils
  • Coffee Mills (outside surface)
  • Vases, Mugs, Cups, Bottles and Cans (outside)
  • Bowls, Boxes, Bins, Planters and Dishes (outside)
  • Poles, Posts, Rods, Shafts, Dowels and Tubes
  • Desk Lamps
  • Candlesticks
  • Candles
  • Paddles
  • Coat Hooks
  • Wheels
  • Tires
  • Gears
  • Pistons
  • Bearings
  • Table Legs (if I must)

I’ve always wanted to make a guitar. I’m sure it could do the guitar neck

You don’t need a rotary to do a guitar neck - simple flip!

Hey @Borgorl, hey @hinro133, hey all,

right, as demonstrated here

The newly offered Onefinity Rotary Axis is also too small and too short. But it should go with all things @SurfinGump listed above

That video is impressive, nicely done

Maybe you should consider buying a lathe.
