Yes. Now that is how a company listens to its user base and comes through.

Well done.

Several Questions:
Can the arbor be changed out?
If so what is the size of the arbor it will take?
Is it possible to install blocks to get more height for larger wood pieces to cut?
The video i think mentioned 7" around
Are there dimmensions/drawings to share?
What is the maximum length that can be cut from jaws to arbor for each CNC size?
In the event a user bought the z-brake is there an option to provide the spare motor for this?

Presumably, the max diameter for stock is limited by the Z carriage clearance (further limited by bit clearance if less than carriage). What diameter could we expect to fit on a QCW? 7” does not seem possible, but maybe I’m missing something.

The bit tip is over the center of the rotary, not the z carrage, so you get more reach.

If I have an original series and buy the 4th axis for my machine but then later upgrade to an elite, would I need an entirely new rotary?

No, you will not need a whole new rotary!
We’ll put an upgrade kit on our site. It’s just a motor and a few wires, super simple!

Oh right! The Z carriage doesn’t have to pass over the rotary. Still, to get 7" (I can’t see getting much more than 5" on mine with the Z16 80mm mount) you must have spacers either lifting the X-axis up or moving the spindle further away. So, what’s the secret to getting to 7" diameter?

A foreman with the z20 at the highest setting.

Ah. What’s the limit on a Woodworker with a Z16?

I don’t have that exact number at this time, but it’s more like 5"

Ok thanks. Quite interested in this product. Good to know the limits without having to upgrade other components.

WOHOO!!! Now we are talking… best release so far

haha, Ah the difference a ’ makes :stuck_out_tongue:

Very cool. I have no idea how to program for a rotary though. Does CarveCo have a rotary option?

Yes, Carveco and Vectric both do!

How’s compatibility look between the new Airweights slats and the 4th axis + QCW mounts (given that the slats are slightly thicker than standard 3/4” MDF slats)?

Can you provide the exact dimensions for both sizes? I don’t see a manual for it nor anything showing that info.
