Re-inventing the CNC experience again!

Onefinity changed the CNC experience, first by standardizing a quick and easy set-up process and pioneering linear rails and ball screws at a price makers and small businesses could afford. This forced ALL manufacturers to abandon plastic wheels and rubber belts. We then revolutionized accessories for small shops with products like the Rolling - Folding Stand, Wall Mount and Use Anywhere QCW. Now, Onefinity is trailblazing again with the Revolution.

Ultra low backlash Helical Gear reducer - No Rubber Belts!

The Onefinity Revolution features an impressive high precision, ultra low backlash metal gearbox. The high precision internal helical gears are made using high quality materials, and hardened to allow high torque loads and long life. The quality of the Revolution is unmatched.

All Metal Design

One of the many benefits of the Onefinity Revolution is that it features an all metal design. You will not find any plastic or 3D printed parts on the Revolution. All hand nuts, Support ends, Gearbox mounts and Tail Stock parts are made from high strength aluminum. The Tail Stock Shaft and Tail Stock Adjusting Hand Nut is made from Stainless Steel. We are sure you will be impressed with the build quality and durability of the Onefinity Revolution!

Hardened Steel, Linear Motion Shafts

The Onefinity Revolution features Hardened Steel, Linear motion shafts for quick, ridged and precise Tail Stock set-up. In addition, all bearings are high load and feature effective seals for long life.

Unique Material Holding Adapter

The Onefinity Revolution comes with a unique material holding adapter to allow for the use of oversized material. The Material Holding Adapter allows for machining material that is too big for the jaws of the chuck to hold by themselves.

Create Precise, Stunning, High Quality Parts

The Onefinity Revolution allows you to create precision parts that are not only stunning but of exceptional quality!

Unique Height Adjusting Design

The Onefinity Revolution is the first and only Rotary 4th Axis that allows you to adjust the material loading height. This patent pending feature allows you to maximize your cutting material thickness height to match the gantry height of your CNC machine.

Tired of being stuck with a 4th Axis that can only handle small diameter parts and no way of increasing the material size it can handle? With the Onefinity Revolution there’s no need to worry, adjusting the height so you can increase the size of the material you can machine is now possible. You can go from accepting a 4” material size to a 7” material size (and beyond) by using Revolution Spacer Blocks.

Plug and Play XYZ Probing

Finding the exact center of your material is quick and easy with the built in Plug and Play XYZ Probe.

Inductive Homing

With the Onefinity Revolution not only can you easily find your material center with the XYZ Probe, you can easily find the angle of your work piece with the built-in inductive homing. (Elite Machines Only)

Innovative QCW Mount

The innovative patent pending QCW Mount allows the Revolution to be precision installed and ready to use within minutes. Your journey to 4th axis Carving couldn’t be easier.

Y-Axis Splitter Box (for non-elite machines)

To allow our non Elite customers to have true 4th axis function, we designed a unique Y-Axis Splitter Box. Simple plug your Y-Axis cables into the back of the Splitter box. They will stay there permanently. When you want to use your 4th Axis, simply plug it into the front and push the activate button. You now have true 4th axis motion (Y-Axis will now be able to move during a 4th axis carve).

The Y-Axis Splitter Box comes standard with all Pro/Original (BB Buildbotics) versions of the 4th axis.

Easy to use Clamping Brackets

The Revolutionary easy clamping brackets allow the Revolution to be installed virtually anywhere on your wasteboard.

Convenient Storage

When you are done using your REVOLUTION, simply unclamp it and hang it on the wall. It couldn’t be easier and more convenient!

The REVOLUTION is Available in Two (2) Sizes.

  • 48" for Foreman and Journeyman machines.
  • 32" for Woodworker sized machines.

*The Revolution is not available for Machinist (16") sized machines.

The REVOLUTION Works with ALL Onefinity Machines

Does the material holding adapter provide the option to hold delicate materials such as glass? I have been holding off on getting an upgraded rotary, but I am looking to replace my J-Tech roller rotary. This looks awesome, but I mostly do laser work with the rotary and want to make sure it would work in the way i want it to. Either way, the true 4th axis for the BB controller is awesome. So far it looks like I am into the 1F holidays for about $2500 between the 65w and this. Don’t tell my wife.

No, the material holding adapter is a metal plate with holes designed to put screws threw to hold wood. You’d want to use the chuck with some padding for glass.

You’re secret is safe with us :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for the discretion!

Okay, now I’m impressed, and thank you for considering us early adopters! A little pricey, but still impressive and now I’m finding it hard not to spend my year-end bonus money on this.

We haven’t forgotten about our OG early adopters! They’ll love this week!

If you guys drop a z mount for European milling motors that has been asked for across the forums I am in big trouble. I was able to hold off breaking into the piggy bank last year, but so far this week is making me poor.

Nice, seems enough size for what I need. The XYZ Probing for height and center line zeroing aspect is awesome.

Would this be able to be milled running along the Y-axis as well, or just the X-axis (as the youtube video shows)?

The max diameter says it’s 7", how far apart are the rails of the frame under the workpiece (my concern is that a workpiece would run into those rails if big enough)?

To be able to cut 7" diameter, does that mean that the frame would have to be placed on a lifter/blocks underneath? It seems, just placing it on the spoilboard wouldn’t clear for 7", unless i’m seeing it wrong.

Also, what CAD/CAM software do you guys recommend?

I recently contacted CarvecoMaker for my needs:

Inserting an stl and carving it out on a rotary, They said they couldn’t actually do this…

11 months ago Carvco introduced the 4th axis.

This is great news.
Will this work with vCarve software?

yes, so you see how this video shows how to wrap a text or design/pattern around a cylinder.

I asked them about inserting an stl/mesh/statue, and then making a tool path to be able to carve out on a rotary.
This latter they said they cannot do.

Unlike a 3d carve, i can insert an stl/mesh into carveco and then make tool paths to carve out a bas relief.

Sort of. VCarve/Aspire will let you mill over the rotation axis only, since they support wrapped rotary machining.

I recommend looking into DeskProto CAM software for rotary jobs. It’s reasonably priced and will allow you to do 4-axis indexed toolpaths and mill below the center of rotation, which arent options in the Vectric software.

The description mentions something called “easy clamping brackets” which allow you to place the rotary almost anywhere on the waste board. I don’t see any other mention of these on the website. Is more info available somewhere?

I am a paid Fusion 360 user but have never used the Turning options in Manufacture because until recently I had a stand alone lathe.

Anyone have any experience with Fusion and turning, is it rudimentary and needs lots of work?

I am also Mac user with no intention of switching to Windows, not even in a Parallels VM. So unless you have a free option, please don’t tell me to get Windows and purchase CARVECO.

How does the 4th axis lock/brake? Does it use “holding current” all the time when not rotating?

It uses holding current at all times when powered on and not rotating, just like every other axis on the machine other axis on the machine.

Seven inches maximum diameter, but what is the maximum length?

The listings have this. 37” and 21”
