I’ve downloaded the Installation PDF and followed it exact. However, I always get an EStop Error for Motor 1 and 2 “A potentially damaging electrical condition was detected….”
I’m wondering if my configurations are correct?
Page 21 Y Splitter Box Setup THE WRTTEN DIRECTIONS
With the provided new cables:
M1 on BB box to “M1 Motor” on splitter box
M2 on BB box to “M2 Motor” on splitter box
HOWEVER,
The Diagrams on pages 21 and 22 have arrows pointing to ports labeled as above…..
**BUT, the label on the actual splitter box shows the opposite ports!
Has anyone figured this out? Afraid to switch wires around and damage something.
Help greatly appreciated….Thanks
Other Notes:
Reloaded the v1.6.2 software—no change, still get error
Motor 0 is X
Motor 1 is Y
Motor 2 is Y (slave)
Motor 3 is Z

William: You might have solved this already but if not, I am set up different from you. I followed the video from Onefinity and the connections are BB controller M1 to splitter box M1 control, BB controller M2 to splitter box M2 control. The steppers themselves for the Y axis go into the corresponding M1 and M2 motor ports on the splitter.
I read the PDF you mentioned and it seems wrong. I don’t want to steer you the wrong way so my suggestion would be to watch the video. YouTube “Onefinity CNC 4th Axis Rotary for Pro/Original series with Buildbotics”
Thank You, and Thank You Again!
I did not know about the video.
The video is correct; everything seems to be working now.
I will contact Support to relay that the PDF manual shows the wrong connections. (I do give them credit for responding quickly, but I think they were unaware of the PDF directions.)
