Router plunge into work

router just plunge into my wood and destroyed a 12 x 30 piece of white oak and 30 degree bit from cadence mfg. Any suggestion on where to start with grounding? Never had a issue with it till I upgrade the x rail to the large x-50. Was on the 1.2 version. after the plunge Upgrade to the 1.3.1. Just chage router brushes.

Someone on FB mention checking the z wiring. Any guidance on what and how I should check?
