did you have success? I just wrote this posting to say, I think besides retrofitting a more serious drag chain system as a whole, I think it would also be possible to exchange the stock drag chain raceway by a slightly wider one (let’s say 40 mm, to include the water coolant hoses), and to make it of aluminium, in order to leave in place the parts that hold the drag chain raceway.
