Made a few sculptured serving trays. Top surface is concave in both X&Y directions. Bottom matches the top curvature with some feet added. Size is approximately 8" x 22" x 1". Two sided job took about four hours.
Materials are cherry, walnut, red oak, white oak, maple, Brazilian cherry, and one that I’m not sure what it is.
I created the 3D model in OnShape and then exported it as an stl file. In VCarve I used the 3D roughing, 3D finish, and profile tool paths to cut it out. It was a two sided job.
