I have an issue where the spindle goes to the front left corner and just goes straight into the work piece. I created a grid in carveco to line up a new spoil board. The carveco file has 0,0 in the center and a center origin. Not sure what to do. I upgraded to the latest firmware but it did the same thing.
Edit: I tried probing the z up higher to see what happens, and Z goes down for ~ 50 mm and then it says user hit the estop, which i didn’t.
After the machine homes, you have to set the machine y0 x0 to whenever you want.
The spindle going into work piece…where is your z height set to? Top of piece or spoil board? Are you in mm and inches on the program?
Your right, I want thinking of the problem right. I moved and have had this in storage for about a year. I didn’t 0 it to the center. The behavior was still weird. It usually gives an error about going out side of the working dimensions since it is so large. I’ll go fix that and see what it does.
Ok, So that wasn’t the issue. It still just goes down too deep into the work piece and then says E-Stop triggered by user, which again i am not touching, I am just letting it go into some MDF.
