Anyone hear of a Onefinity for sale in the Seattle area real cheap, it is probably the one that was in my truck when it was stolen. I was moving a lot of items to my home in Alaska after heart surgery at the VA hospital in Houston. I checked into the La Quinta Inn in SEATAC this afternoon. I took my backpack and dog with me to the room. Was gone maybe 20 minutes and the truck was stolen from the parking lot. Seattle area seems to be a crime ridden hell hole. The unit was not assembled it was in the original boxes. It did have some use while i was in Houston recovering from surgery. I did pack everything back into the original boxes.

Man that really sucks, so sorry to hear this happened to you! Others in the area may also check flea markets and the like as those can be havens for stolen goods.
I hope the BOLO ends with you getting your 1F back and good luck with your health recovery too!
Thanks for the thoughts. I appreciate it. I had such high hopes for being able to make things for sale. Another dream gone for now.
Man that sucks, maybe @OnefinityCNC could help you with a discount on a replacement.
Damn despicable trash that takes another mans items. I hate a thief!
Check local scrap yards
That sucks. Can happen anywhere these days.
Damn thieves probably have no idea what it even is. No security footage from the hotel? Perhaps I’m watching too much TV…
No security camera. They were stolen.
Wow, that figures. I’m so sorry for the hassle this is causing. What will you do now, return home to sort out insurance & find a new truck?
The truck insurance may cover the contents of the bed, but if not, your homeowners should.
Hey Carl,
I’m really sorry that something like this happened to you. I feel with you.
Heading home to Petersburg AK tomorrow. Not sure what to do. Money is tight to get a new one. Probably won’t get a new truck as prices for used vehicles are out of reach. Will rethink whole situation. Thanks for the kind thoughts.
I just read your note and it hit me. You may be able to cover it with insurance. But I had an idea. If you are on FaceBook you should put up a Go Fund Me page. I would contribute and I’m sure others would to. Set the goal at the cost of a new machine. Then put up a Post on OneFinity Users page linking your Go Fund Me page for our 1F family with an explanation. You can use my name as the person suggesting this if you feel uneasy.
Best of Luck;
Danny Boudreaux
Danny:
I really appreciate the thoughts. I will consider it if I don’t recover the unit.
Thanks for the good wishes.

OK. Good luck. Hope all works out well for you.
Well the police have found the truck and impounded it. It was located in Renton, WA. All of the items I was bringing back home are gone, including the Onefinity Woodworker and all of the bits and just everything that was needed to do awesome items with it.
I thank all of you for your kind words and best wishes.
I am back home in Alaska and going to Seattle to get the truck out of police custody and put on the barge to come here. I am working with the insurance company, USAA, to see what I can get covered on the loss.
The truck had minor damage to the right side door where it was jimmied to gain access.
Thanks again to all in the forum. You are all great.

Hey Carl,
I feel sorry when I hear this. At least you have the truck back! Is it in good shape?
This leads me to the question whether Onefinity did emboss a serial number on the machine or on the Controller somewhere? If the thief understands what the machine is for, it is probable they will try to sell it.
I am not sure about it being embossed with a serial number. I will reach out to Onefinity to see if that is the case. I have a low level of confidence that these perps know what they have. It could just end up in a dump. They may try to use the touch screen for something, I guess.
The truck has some damage to passenger side door where they jimmied the lock to get in. The new radio is gone. They removed the fuel filler neck to get to the gas tank to drain it. I had to have a new one put in so I fuel it up so I could get it to the barge terminal. It will arrive here in Petersburg next Monday.
All in all, a pretty sad commentary on our society to day in a city that defunds the police and lets thieves run around with no consequences. I feel sorry for the police as they have a truly impossible job in today’s climate.
Thanks again to all.
Carl

Carl, I’m so glad to hear that you at least got the truck back. Sorry they didn’t recover anything else though. I believe insurance should cover contents of your vehicle, considering you were in the middle of moving with it. I know that was the case when we moved from MI to AZ regarding what I was carrying in the car as well as in the small U-Haul trailer we towed. I’ve heard that USAA is a very good insurance company. Wish I was qualified to get insurance through them. I hope they take good care of you.
