Is anyone located in Washington State near Everett? I would like to meet and talk directly about the Onefinity CNC, Vectric Software and CNC projects!

I’m down in Portland and am new to milling; about 6 weeks ago I placed my order for an Elite Foreman that I’m really excited about. Maybe if there’s enough interest I’d be willing to drive for a meetup, but otherwise pinning to follow some local-ish folks and hopefully meet you in the future!
I am using a Onefinity Woodworker for the past 1.5 years. I have ordered an Elite upgrade to my Woodworker and I should be receiving it sometime in the middle of January to the first of Feb? I have. I have Vectric Expire software for about 1 year and still learning. It would be nice to meet up sometime but emails would be great to communicate with on any CNC issues or problems. Please let me know if you are open to emails? Thank you for responding.
I’m totally open to emails! I’m lucas [at] generativeartist.com and look forward to hearing from you, Rick.
Thank you for responding!
I am waiting or shipment on the Onefinity Elite upgrade kit before I can do any work.
The software I am using is Vectric Aspire,
I would like to know if you need any information. I am not an expert but familiar enough with Onefinity and Vectric to give some help when needed or can give me some help when needed.
When I receive the upgrade kit I am going to carve copper, brass and aluminum projects. I have been researching these soft metal projects and excited to try a soft metal project. I ordered the kit on Dec 6, 2023 6, 2023 and at that time I was advised shipping date would be 6 to 8 weeks. The current information is that they don’t know when shipping will be as their subcontractors are behind and don’t know when they will receive the products?
Let me know that projects you are working on. I am also researching how to develop 3D amd make 3Dprojects so I can make them from scratch and to a final carve.
Please stay in contact If you can- Thanks
Amazing! I just received my Elite Foreman which I ordered at the end of November and received end of Jan. Hopefully your upgrade arrives soon.
I’ve been busy setting up the table and space for the CNC. I decided to take over the entire garage, which meant purging a bunch of stuff that tends to pile up in garages, and sectioning off a section of the space with soundproof walls to keep the noise and dust away from the main working area. It’s coming along nicely.
I’m intrigued that you’ll be carving soft metals! That’s something I’ve not explored before. You’ll have to keep us all posted on your projects and learnings!
I’m starting a product line that’s aimed at the sex-positive folks, knowing that folks are typically storing their toys and implements in sock drawers and under beds. My first product will be a nice box for storing/charging that is also lockable to keep privacy intact. The CNC comes into play in the box lids, which will not be flat but instead have different textures carved into them. I’m really excited about it!
Here is the official thread on the locations of all the OneFinity owners, including the Google Map that even shows which machine they own. All user submitted and volunteered information.
I am in Coeur d’Alene Idaho, using an OneFinity Foreman Elite with V-Carve Pro.
Will do, as you know much time is needed to understand this process.
