Trying to surface waste board - using bad words (solved)

Spent all day messing with this on my new Gen-2 WW and I’m losing my religion in a hurry…

I guess its because I used gSender on a PC for my former CNC and the HMI is new to me, surfacing that waste board was easy…

But I’m having more heck than a kid on the wrong school bus trying to surface my waste board.

I’m using VCarve Pro 12 to create a pocket toolpath that’s X=32" and Y=31"

That should be within the 32x32 limits of the WW but I keep getting these errors.

Is your work 0,0 set to the machine home (0,0)?

I’m not familiar with that controller, but if I read the screen correctly, the machine is physically at Y=2.355 and your work position is at Y=0. When your toolpath tries to go to Y=31, that would be 33.355 on the machine (out of bounds). Home your machine, then manually zero out X and Y, so 0,0 is the machine 0,0.

Got it! Successful waste board surfacing! Thanks folks for all of the help! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
