Update Firmware Without Rebooting?

I’ve always had issues with the touchscreen not working after rebooting despite trying to work with Masso on the issue. Usually this only happens after it’s been on awhile, so I can leave it alone and come back in a few hours and it work. Right now I’m trying to update from 5.07 to 5.10 before I install the rotary and ATC. The touchscreen won’t respond for the first few minutes after restarting, thus not allowing me into the menu to install the update. I’ve tried restarting through the F1 menu and I’m not getting any different results. So my question is; Is there a way to install an update that doesn’t require a restart?

I don’t think there is a way to update without restarting but if you’ll power off, remove your flash drive and then power on without the flash drive inserted it will most likely solve the blank screen issue. Once all is back on re-insert the drive.
