Using G30,G30.1

Has anyone used the G30, g30.1 set to successfully store on the OneFinity so that should the power go out or you have to turn off the machine you can easily get back to your home position on a project?

My knowledge is very limited on gcode but I watched the video by James Dean Designs on the code and that thought this would be a huge help to space a project over days if I can shut my system down or lose power.

When I put the command G30.1 in after setting my reference zero for a project it does work to return to the zero when entering the G30 command which I set up as a macro.

However, once I cut power everything resets and the zero is not remembered in the machine.

The next firmware update remembers things after power outage and estop. as far as G30 and g30.1 goes ill let someone else answer if the buildbotics controller can use those codes.

I’m a bit confused. I thought that G30 was to send it to the parking position at the end of the run.

G30 - Second Position Zero Return - not sure if build botics supports it though

I was just about to ask the same question! It’s frustrating that things like G30 which work on a $200 cnc, doesn’t work on the 1F.
