Vectric Post Processors For 10.5 or older versions (Download Links Included)

Update: Going to Version 1.0.8 DID resolve the issues. If you have updated to VCarve 11, you need to update the controller firmware to 1.0.8 or newer.

Has anyone else had issues using Vectric Vcarve Pro 11.006 gcode with the Onefinity? I have two issues:

  • The first issue is that although I am choosing the middle as the zero point in both the initial set up and the tool path set up, (and it appears to be working fine in vcarve pro) when I import that file into my onefinity it makes the zero point the lower left. It won’t allow me to set zero because it recognizes the part would be too large (part is 18"x32") It shows the preview of the cut (on the computer screen connected via WIFI) and shows the origin as the corner.

  • The Second issue is that the Onefinity controller is saying there is an unrecogized G Code. I think it was G64 but not positive (I am not at the machine now.)

I am using: Vcarve Pro 11.006, Onfinity firmware 1.0.7 I think, I have not updated to 1.0.8, Connected over wifi. I have not tried redoing the “home” as lower left, because my laptop is not very powerful and the 3d model/vcarve file is large and slow. I did download the machine configuration through the VCarve 11 set up. so they should be the newest post processor files. I have not tried going back to 10.5 because I want to use the Rest Machining feature of 11. With rest machining it will take 8 hours, without it would take 3x as long.

I have been using VCarve 10.5 with the Onefinity machine for months without any issues. I am familiar with the process and have made quite a few projects. Although it might be a user error, I think there is some other issue going on…

I think you might have answered your own question. Upgrade to 1.0.8

both of those, and the file a little lower give me errors when I go into pp area on vcarve. I tried putting them in my_postP and Postp I am using vcarve 8

the error says it is on line 42 and looks to be talking about variable speed. please advise

Looks like the line says VAR power = [P|C|S|1.0|10.0]

I am new to the forum but am having the same issue. Did you by chance correct the problem?

Are there Rotary post processors as well?
