Has anyone tried to use the laser attachment to cut vinyl upholstery material? We reupholster dental chairs and we were wondering if the J-Tech laser on the Elite would be a good idea for cutting out our patterns.
Cutting vinyl with a laser is a very bad idea. Get a drag knife.
Thank you. Upon further research I am now aware that cutting vinyl is dangerous. Chlorine gas converting to atomized Hydrochloric acid. Yup that is not good. Thanks for your warnings. a drag knife seems to be the answer.
