Wake on LAN support? (not supported)

I’d like to be able to wake the controller remotely, so that I can drop files in the morning without having to put on pants and walk out to the garage to hit a button. Does the Buildbotics controller support that? I’m not seeing anything in my searches.

They do not, and will not.

Bummer. Looks like I have to put pants on.

Or get a Switchbot and then you can remotely push the button.

Interesting! I’d seen Switchbots before, but couldn’t think of any immediate uses for them, and so quickly forgot about them. I’ll add one to my wish list and continue to poke around the ecosystem. It’s a shame that they require a hub to work with Alexa, etc, but still promising. Thanks!

with the older rocker switch controllers it was as easy as buying a smart plug the newer push buttons will not work. My older box finally died after 3 years I miss saying Alexa turn that sexy bitch on

Hey Ron, hey William @wpodonnell,

you can still switch the newer revisions with the pushbutton on by using a switch on a power strip if you make that the controller is always on by shortening J18 on the Rev. 5. AVR mainboard (pcb). You could even retrofit the Rocker switch like found on Rev. 4 by attaching it to J18.
