Waking up from cold

Could someone please suggest a wake-up sequence for the following scenario:- OneFinity with Masso controller shut down previously with 1.25 inch surfacing bit in router. System wakes up and requests emergency stop and home including a trip to the tool-setter. I need to change the bit to a 0.25 inch end-mill to perform probing, what is the sequence for this and when should I probe the Z value? After starting the program it asks to change the bit to the surfacing bit but then does not allow further Z probes. I think what I am asking is whether the Masso remembers the last bit before power-off so I should probe the Z value with that or should I change to bit to the end-mill and probe X,Y and Z with that (do I need to use the M6 command to ask for bit change).

Turn on
Home
Change bit
Home again
Then xyz probe

Hi Support Leader,

That is great but please understand it directly conflicts with Masso team instructions “do not change bits unless Masso instructs you to do so”.

I am still waiting for their response to the question.

Thanks David
