I have my Z slider mounted at its lowest position because I am setting up my machine to be capable of thicker materials later. The slider hit one of the little adjustment screws. I’m not exactly sure how, it usually just barely cleared it but the slider bears scratches where it hit it at least once. I took this screw out and shortened it. Maybe change this to a set screw as you’ve done where there was interference with the wire guides.
We’ve made the change to set screws at the factory Friday after we had a similar report of this!
could you tell us what size of set screw that is so we at home can change them as well? oh and what type of set screw too. cup point, dog point, etc.
The grub screws we are using are m5 cup point.
