My .125 downtown jenny bit does not fit on my makita router. Please help
Do you have a 1/8 inch collet? You will need those for bits smaller than 1/4 inch.
The gold standard would be “Elaire” brand but mine is from Robotshop and made by a company named “Sienci”. Works fine.
If you don’t wish to change collets to change bits, they also make a similar bit that is a 1/8" downcut on a 1/4" shank. Although more expensive, many people prefer 1/4 shanks with 1/8" (or smaller) cutters due to perceived stability increases. I generally do prefer them.
