Does anyone else use a 3d touch probe with their elite?
I’m using one and for X and Y it is spot on 100% of the time. However, my Z height keeps changing and I cannot figure out why.
At first I thought it was an issue with not getting the probe seated into the spindle correctly, i.e. how far its seated into the spindle. But even if I’m extremly careful and make sure its identical, it seems every time I reboot the Elite its slightly different the next time I use it. I’m talking 2-3mm at times.
Has anyone run into this?
