Is it possible to mount both the laser plate and the PwnCNC at the same time? Or do I need to remove the laser mounting plate when I use the dust shroud?
Also, to follow up from last week…I got the laser working. I’m solidly on the “build an enclosure” team now. Out of pure curiosity I turned the laser up to 100% and turned it on. In about 15 seconds I had burned straight through the .75" plywood and most of the way through my 1.5" MDF spoilboard underneath. I won’t do that again.
Anyway, there were flames and lots of smoke and my shop smelled like a campfire for 3 days. So I built an enclosure this weekend ($$$) and a 6" vent fan and ducting is on order.
