4th axis rotary - is there a unit from Onefinity at this time? YES!

Hello. I received my Foreman a few months ago and am about ready to add the rotary unit. Has Onefinity brought their own unit out for us or is there a time estimate of when this would be available? I also installed the z-brake so also wanted to ask if the closed loop motor from the z unit is one to bolt onto the 4th axis unit that was referenced in an earlier posting and listed on amazon. thanks

There is no 4th axis rotary from onefinity, yet. But this has been requested feature by multiple people. Judging by the history, some of us are hoping this would be something coming in November… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It is possible install your own relatively easily.

I followed this brilliant video: https://youtu.be/9xH6NT6mFX8?si=PP_H3fh9Ba7JApbB

I used the stepper motor left after upgrading to Z-braking system.

I bought the chuck and tail stock from Amazon.

It is easy enough to wire up but i do struggle with molex; i havent used them and i have a butchered pin setup that works but could be much better with a better molex wiring loom. I asked 1F for a wiring set up to the 4th power bank but they sent me something different and i can not be bothered to ask again; shipping just cables to the uk is not efficient. I would welcome anyones input on how best to create ones own molex wiring looms without buying expensive crimping tool.
