All, what type of light are anyone of you guys running on your spindles for those that do run lights, and if youd share where you got them from. Thx
I see it’s been a while since you’ve posted, but I’m curious—did anyone end up mounting lights directly to their spindle? I’m thinking about trying some magnetic LED strips or a 3D printed ring around the spindle mount. I’d love to know what solutions actually held up over time, especially with dust and vibration. Anyone have updates or new setups?
I actually did get a light. I was mistaken tho, I have a 65mm spindle not an 80mm.

So far it works good, had to add a shield as the light was shinning all the way out and not down, thats the only downfall, it’s more out then down. All in all I’m happy with it and it works good.
I’m working on the same thing, I love to see some pics. I’m gonna use the laser mount to anchor mine.
Finally had the time.
Light was off Amazon, had to file the inside out a little as it didn’t fit right out of the box. Makes for a snug fit, so it doesn’t move.
I did have to add a shield as the light was a little blinding straight out. And the power supply used was the power supply for the touchscreen that came with the 1f.
I took a slightly different approach by mounting the light in front of the spindle. This a Performax clamp on work light that was had for 12.99. I used some of the existing brackets and had to make a clamp bar to attach to the laser mount. I wired up a receptacle on top of the slider to plug into. This is plugged into the router outlet on the power supply so when the spindle starts, the light comes on.
