80mm spindles and VFD

Just curious what people have been using and their opinions on them. The Huanyang seems like popular choice but do you know if it’s UL rated. Is it plug and play with the 1F or does it need to be modified?

I also read other people are going with a much higher end companies like Mechatron. If you have one can you share which model you have, the price, and your experience with it. Thanks

Optidrive E3 as my vfd. Nice and tidy. Fiddly bit was setting the parameters in the controller and wiring the breakout board.

My spindle (probably chinese something or other) is ok, air-cooled which i am pleased i chose as it appear to be less hassle to install and only gets a little warm after many hours.
