Well after 7 months waiting to get back into my house I finally got my X-50 woodworker setup. When I try to home the machine it goes to the front left hand corner and makes a grinding noise and a warning comes up and says my x axis is off by -1mm. It shows zero on the screen after about 2 seconds of grinding. What am I doing wrong and how do I fix it?
Thanks

The “stall homing” is off. Here’s how to adjust that.
Your rails being out of square may be the cause also
(this does not apply to elite machines)
You may need to adjust stall homing from time to time during the life of the machine.
CLIMATE OF MACHINE:
Changes in the environment, seasonal changes, static electricity, expansion and contraction,(cold in the morning, hot in the evening). etc. can have an affect on the stall homing. Expect to adjust this during the change from hot to cold and cold to hot seasons or just a unheated shop in the morning to a heated shop when you work in it. If you are …
Just received my X50 Woodworker yesterday. I followed the YouTube videos on setting up the machine and squaring it. When i booted the system and homed the machine, the left Y rail stops ~ 1/4" short of the end. However, the right Y rail comes fully to the end stop. Measured both rails on the table and they are an equal distance from the table end.
Am I missing something here? Do I need to unscrew and manually realign everything and start over?
Thanks for your help.
