Acyrlic Keychains on Vacuum Table

I received a request to make 3,000 two-sided keychains for a local summer sports camp. Decided I would need to get a vacuum table from Air Weights in order to do them all.

Ended up making 150 keychains at a time from a 2’x2’ sheet of 3-ply acrylic. My fixture was a sheet of HDPE covered with a cover gasket from All Star CNC. Used dowel pins to index sheet when I flipped it over.

This is one sheet after cutting out all the parts.

woof.

They look good, the lines are very crisp.

Nice work. Did you have a lot of secondary work or did they come out clean?

No secondary work thanks to the vacuum table and the cover gasket material. The acrylic cuts very clean.
