Any way to adjust deadzone?

Is it possible to adjust the deadzone for the thumbsticks when using a gamepad? I’m currently using an old, somewhat worn out xbox controller and there is enough play in the thumbsticks that my machine will tend to keep moving even when I don’t want it to and I’d like to increase the deadzone radius to fix it. Even better would be to have deadzones between the X and Y axis as well.

I would trash it and get a new one. I find it critical to the operation of my machine and could not imagine using a fairly inexpensive item that created a control problem due to wear.

I did this. I just bought a Logitech F310 wired gamepad and it works perfectly. Not bad for less than 20 bucks.
