ATC dust boot hitting Spindle mount

I have had the ATC dust boot since it came out. For the last month or so, the bottom removable piece with the brush is hitting the bottom of the spindle mount and the dust boot is moving down the spindle as the spindle rises. I left around the connection joint and I feel a tiny lip where the bottom piece moved towards the spindle mount.

Has anyone else seen this? If so, how did you fix it?

Update…

I emailed support and they are sending me a new bottom piece with 1-2mm more clearance. They just asked to confirm my machine order number and shipping address.
