I´m running a 1F gen2 + ATC. I have just set it all up. The machine made some squeezing noise when accelerating… Now the ATC is out of synch, and fails picking up tools from the ATC. has anybody experienced the same? And how do I solve this, and prevent it from happening in the future? Thanks in advance
I’ve recently had a similar issue with ATC failing to load / cross-threading. This is after long periods of successfully working. What always fixes it for me is re-running the ATC setup wizard. What I find by doing this is that my tool pocket locations are off by up to 0.015" in x and y, but it’s not a consistent offset across all of them. I haven’t methodically tried to figure out what’s going on yet. I suspected inaccurate homing sensors, but I would assume that would show the same offset error at each tool change pocket. It could also be a small change in the ATC to QCW table mount. But that also feels really solid. When I run the wizard I also reset my spindle length offset with the toolsetter. I will see around a 0.01" variation in my spindle length offset when doing this. For now it has been faster to just re-run the setup wizard than drill down to the root cause of this.
