BB to Redline & 2.0nm Motors

I’m upgrading my X‑50 BB controller to the Redline HMI, and I’m especially interested in hearing from users who’ve run both the stock X‑50 Pro motors and the Redline 2.0 Nm steppers.

How big is the real‑world difference between the motors? Are you seeing noticeably stronger torque, smoother motion, better cut quality, or higher reliable speeds? Any improvements in resisting stalls or handling heavier cuts? Would you stick with the original steppers?

I don’t know anything about the upgrade path, but I’m pretty sure if you upgrade to the HMI it would be paired with a closed loop controller. I would think you HAVE TO upgrade the steppers? Unless you think the upgrade all together is worth it? Depending on the cost, unless you are having problems with your current set up I would say probably not. I would weight the cost of a new machine with the Redline vs upgrading an older machine for not much real world improvement. How fast do you currently cut your material? Will Redline actually help that? It won’t make your machine more ridgid, so going faster might not better thing matter. I don’t know for sure, but some things to consider.
