I’m looking to see what other Linux users are using for CAM and G-Code generation, or overall design and layout.

Have you tried FreeCAD or Inkscape for design, and LinuxCNC or CamBam for CAM?
If you want Fusion360, check this out (I haven’t tried it myself).
