Can I re-use my Shapeoko spindle w/ Onefinity?

I’m considering purchasing a Onefinity (Elite probably), as an upgrade from the Shapeoko that I currently have.

I have the Shapeoko 65mm VFD/Spindle kit…is this something I can re-use with the Onefinity? Carbide3d mentions that they “lock the settings” of the spindle, but I’m not sure what that means relative to the Onefinity controller.

Most likely unless the pid is locked by them.

Is there a way I can check if the pid is locked via a software command or do I have to ask them?

We have no idea as we’ve never used one, you’ll need to ask them.
