I loaded a gCode file and got this error message. Some posts suggest the problem is a special character in the file name (it has an “&”). My problem is that I can’t clear it out! I press clear and the error clears from that list. I press OK and that screen is replaced with the “Processing New File” screen, then no change. I’ve unplugged it several times to try and reboot (the last time for approx. 1/2 hour). On reboot, I get the same screen again. How can I get a clean reboot?
did you upload the file by usb? if so did you unplug the usb before rebooting?
What version firmware are you using? I would try this to remove the Gcode. It says it’s for versions 1.08 and lower but I would still try it.

No, I was using the laptop to transfer via WIFI. I got it worked out… posting the solution below. Thanks!
