Would the Carbide3D Precision Collets for Carbide Compact Router fit the Makita?

Yes they fit. I also bought cnc bits from them. Good to start

If I purchase the Carbide3d collets, do I just use the original nut from the Makita?

Also; since I too am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Onefinity, I am trying to purchase everything I will need in advance. Bits, I will probably be doing mostly flags and signs. Which bits are recommended? And, is it a waste of money to purchase the best bits during my learning curve? Or are cheap bits inferior?
