Hey guys,
I’m currently trying to convert my Shapeoko to run Masso and I’m a little confused on the sequence on how everything’s supposed to be wired, especially with the estop and contactor, preface that this is my first time doing anything major related with the control system side of things, so sorry if I’m missing anything obvious.
Does anybody have a complete wiring diagram similar to this but for the Masso so I can get an idea for how things are supposed to be wired with it? I’ve read through the Masso documentation but they don’t go too in depth about how the entire system is supposed to be put together.
I’m mainly confused on how the wiring for the contactor should work. Should the contactor come before everything, such that a manual switch activates the contactor and allows power to be sent through the electronics enclosure, or should the masso always be powered by a separate 24v psu, and have the Masso, through a relay, control the contactor that is connected to all the motion components like steppers and VFD?
If you guys have any good resources about this topic they’d be greatly appreciated too.
