I have scoured the Masso site and one thing I noticed is they don’t indicate if it calls for NPN or PNP type switches! I am moving my machine away from the controller I have been using to Masso and been running NPN NC and from the Masso site I don’t think these will work! I also asked a tech at automation technologies to take alookasee at the Masso info and he indicated the same, they don’t point out which type to use. I have also asked this question on 2 other sites Masso included.

They should work. The Masso controller allows you to invert any input signals.
The tool setter I’m using has a normally open main contact and a normally closed over-travel contact. I have one of the inputs inverted, and it works just fine.
