Day 5 of 2024 release week! Announcing The Onefinity Pro Series Easy Adapter

Fixed, that was a mistake. Works with all buildbotics machine types!

Will this allow for use of the Z Tool Setter?

So when will Onefinity offer the ability for the hobby CNC’er to be able to add the Z probe tool setter and homing sensors? I was pretty excited about this adapter but now it doesn’t seem to be much for most users. And without the ability to set up the tool setter it also eliminates the possibility of adding the ATC for us Pro Series owners. I guess for now many of us will have to wait a little longer.

When it’s production ready, is really the best answer. We’re shooting for Feb 25. Internal testing is going very well. Needs some time to bake for polish for the masses.

Ok. Good to know. I would love to add the ATC next year once the bugs are worked out and the new Suckit boot is available. Can you confirm that the ATC will work 80mm spindle?

Hey Onefinitycnc,

congratulations, I think you developed useful new things.

Cannot. We only recommend the use of the Onefinity CNC Spindle Kit by Redline CNC.
That said, any 80mm spindle that can go ccw and cw should work, but wouldn’t get technical support.

@OnefinityCNC
Any chance we could get a consolidated list of expected first shipping dates for all of the goodies you dropped this week? I feel like I saw a few of them over the week, but I am having a hard time finding them all now. I am trying to decide if I need to hold off on any of the items that I want since I leave on deployment shortly after the new year.

They are all at the very top of the product listings.

Thanks.

For anyone else looking for the answer, here is a consolidated list:

Air Weights: late January / early February
Laser: December
Rotary: January
Spindle: late December
Pro Series Adapter: February
ATC: February

Do the homing switches allow for proximity sensors or just infrared? In either case can the machine auto-square with this upgrade?

Curious. which cable do you recommend. Newbie for sure but eager to learn.
Thanks!

I’m guessing we need a different cable. Probably can just buy a connector and solder the connections on. .

First you said “cannot” but then you said "any 80mm spindle that can go ccw and cw. So which is it?

On their forums they say it will do both cw and ccw. I’m not sure if the details to set it up.

The RapidChange arc website says any spindle that does cw/ccw will work.

For the huge number of us with huanyang vfds and spindles, the majority if not all of them should be conpatible. Code PD023 enables and disables spindle reversing capability. “1” enables it and it is likely disabled by default.

“Cannot” as in cannot confirm. Like they said, if it can go ccw and cw it should work, but it’s a spindle 1F isn’t providing support for, so they aren’t going to come out and confirm whether it does or not.

Same question for me but with a Huanyang vdf

If you have a spindle that can go ccw and cw it should work.

The only one we can recommend and confirm that works 100% and will be backed by Onefinitys tech support is the one we sell, Onefinity Spindle Kit by Redline CNC.

We cannot confirm or recommend any other brands or kits found on places like temu or amazon.
